Natural hydraulic Lime (NHL)

Made from limestone that contains natural impurities, such as clay and silicates, NHL sets and hardens without the need for exposure to air. Ideal for more demanding environments, such as wet conditions or areas prone to moisture. NHL is an essential material for building and restoring structures where faster setting times and greater resistance to weathering are needed.

Non-Hydraulic Lime
Non-hydraulic lime, also known as fat lime, is a highly pure form of lime made from limestone with low levels of impurities. It is not water-resistant and requires exposure to air to harden and carbonate, making it ideal for dry or sheltered environments.

One of the earliest forms of paint, used in ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome, Limewash is a blend of matured white lime putty, combined with water. The lime putty is aged for several months before being diluted with water to create the limewash mixture.
