Lafarge’s White Natural Hydraulic Lime 2.0 is a high-quality, natural hydraulic lime with a lower clay content and more lime, making it ideal for delicate restoration and finishing work. Its fine, creamy texture and naturally white colour make it the perfect choice for both modern and historic applications.
Applications:
Interior plastering: Smooth, ‘breathable’ finish ideal for older buildings or lime-based construction.
Exterior restoration: Suitable for heritage and conservation work where a sympathetic, traditional material is needed.
Repairs: Excellent for pointing and repairing brick, sandstone, and soft masonry.
Decorative work: The white colour allows for easy tinting and beautiful finishes.
Whether you're working on listed buildings or simply want a breathable, eco-conscious alternative to cement, Lafarge NHL 2.0 provides flexibility, durability, and a traditional finish.
Storage and Handling: store bags in a cool, dry location off the ground and away from moisture. Exposure to damp conditions will cause the lime to set prematurely. Use within 6 months of purchase for best performance. Once mixed with water, use immediately - natural hydraulic lime begins to set on contact with water, so only prepare what you can use in a short time. Shield new lime plaster or mortar from rapid drying, frost, and direct rain for at least 48–72 hours.
